Author: TRADE ACT: Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) is a Federal entitlement program which provides services to individuals who lose their jobs as a result of increased imports. Services focus on providing employment and training opportunities to help unemployed individuals transition back into the workforce. There are also additional benefits available under this program
ELIGIBILITY: Individuals who have been laid off from a company with an approved Trade petition.
SERVICE AREA: Statewide, but priority given to residents of Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin LaRue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, and Washington counties.
