SERVICES: 24 hour crisis line, emergency shelter, individual counseling, support groups, legal and other advocacy, information and referral, community education, and professional training.

SERVICE AREA: Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin, LaRue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, and Washington counties.

ELIGIBILITY: Anyone experiencing spousal/partner abuse and violence.

FEES: None

Provides fair, compassionate treatment for victims and witnesses of violent crimes to ensure they are not lost nor forgotten in the legal process. These crimes include murder, reckless homicide, manslaughter, sexual or physical abuse, spouse or child abuse, robbery, kidnapping, wanton endangerment, and residential burglary.

OFFICE HOURS: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST (Monday-Friday)

SERVICES: Help victims understand their rights and keep informed of all court dates.

Accompany victims and witnesses to court. Provide emotional support, and help file forfinancial aid through the Crime Victim Compensation Board. Notify victims when criminals are released into custody. Inform victims and witnesses of all probation or parole hearings so they may have input to the process. Identify services needed by victims, witnesses, and their families and refer to appropriate agencies.

ELIGIBILITY: Must be a victim or witness of a violent crime, or a family member or survivor of a victim or witness.

SERVICES: Mental Health Emergency/Crisis Evaluation of children ages 4-17, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The Crisis Unit is a residential 8-bed facility that provides an alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. Individual, family, and group therapy are available daily. Psychiatric evaluation with a child psychologist is available as needed for each child admitted to the unit.

SERVICE AREA: Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin, LaRue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, andWashington counties. Referrals also accepted as long as the parents/guardian is able to attend regularly scheduled family sessions.

FEES: Medicaid and some private insurance accepted. Sliding fee for those without insurance coverage for this level of care, based on income.

OFFICE HOURS: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

SERVICES: Food Stamp program, Medicaid assistance, K-TAP for families with children under 18 years of age, an absent parent, or parent unable to work.

ELIGIBILITY: Anyone may go and apply for services. Eligibility is based on income.

Income limits vary by household and program guidelines.

FEES: None.

Program’s goals are to lower energy use; year round comfort; to make home energy efficient and save client money; health and safety.

ELIGIBILITY: Income eligibility based on Federal Poverty Guidelines.
